COOKIE POLICY
Last updated September 27, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how the person who operates MarketAI (“we,” “us,” and “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website at https://app.marketai.trade (“Website”). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
In short
Our Website sets only three cookies. All three are first-party cookies, set by our Website itself, and all three are strictly necessary: they keep you signed in, protect our forms, and carry a one-time notice from one page to the next. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, us) are called “first-party cookies.” Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third-party cookies.” Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g., advertising, interactive content, and analytics). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites. Our Website does not set or allow third-party cookies.
Which cookies do we use?
Essential website cookies:
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our Website and to use some of its features, such as access to secure areas. They contain no information about you beyond what they need to do their job, and they are sent only to our Website, only over encrypted connections.
| Name: | sessionid |
|---|---|
| Purpose: | Keeps you signed in, and carries you through redeeming an invitation and using your private link. It holds a random session identifier; the session’s contents stay on our server. |
| Set: | When you sign in, redeem an invitation, or open a private link or a password reset link. |
| Provider: | app.marketai.trade (first party) |
| Type: | HTTP cookie; not readable by scripts (HttpOnly); sent only over HTTPS (Secure); SameSite=Lax |
| Expires in: | 2 weeks, or when you sign out |
| Name: | csrftoken |
|---|---|
| Purpose: | Helps prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks, in which another website tries to submit a form on our Website in your name. It holds a random value that our forms send back. Our own pages’ scripts read it, so it is readable by scripts on our Website. |
| Set: | When you open a page of ours that has a form, such as the invitation or sign-in page. |
| Provider: | app.marketai.trade (first party) |
| Type: | HTTP cookie; sent only over HTTPS (Secure); SameSite=Lax |
| Expires in: | 1 year |
| Name: | messages |
|---|---|
| Purpose: | Carries a one-time notice, such as a confirmation that your bot was saved, or “Your password is saved,” to the next page you see after an action. It is deleted as soon as the notice is shown. |
| Set: | After an action that shows a notice on the next page. |
| Provider: | app.marketai.trade (first party) |
| Type: | HTTP cookie; not readable by scripts (HttpOnly); sent only over HTTPS (Secure); SameSite=Lax |
| Expires in: | When the notice is shown, or at the latest when you close your browser |
We do not use analytics and customization cookies, or advertising cookies.
Do we need your consent?
No. The law in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere requires consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary. The three cookies above are strictly necessary to provide the Website you ask for, so they do not require your consent, and we do not show a consent banner or a consent manager. If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this Cookie Policy.
How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies, and to delete cookies already stored. If you refuse or delete our cookies, you can still read our public pages, but you will not be able to sign in or submit our forms, because the cookies above are needed for that.
As the means by which you can refuse cookies through your web browser controls vary from browser to browser, you should visit your browser’s help menu for more information. The following is information about how to manage cookies on the most popular browsers:
What about local storage, web beacons, and other technologies?
Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. Websites can also store information in your browser’s local storage, or use web beacons (sometimes called “tracking pixels” or “clear gifs”), which are tiny graphics files that let a website know when someone has visited a page or opened an email.
Our public pages and our member pages do not store anything in your browser’s local storage or session storage. Some pages that only our staff can open remember display preferences there.
We do not use web beacons or tracking pixels, on our Website or in our emails. Our emails show our logo, which your email program may load from our Website. The logo’s address is the same for every recipient, so loading it does not tell us who opened an email.
Do third parties set cookies or receive information?
No third party sets cookies through our Website. The pages you see after you sign in load some open-source software libraries, for example for charts and icons, from public content delivery networks, jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) and the jQuery CDN (code.jquery.com), and a font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser loads them, it sends those networks your IP address and information about your browser, as with any web request. They do not set cookies. Our public pages, including the invitation, sign-in, and legal pages, load nothing from third parties. Our Privacy Policy explains more.
Do you serve targeted advertising?
No. We do not show advertising on our Website, and we do not allow third parties to place cookies or web beacons on our Website to serve advertising or to measure its effectiveness.
How often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please therefore revisit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.
The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
Where can I get further information?
If you have any questions about our use of cookies or other technologies, please email us at privacy@marketai.trade.
